All through my life I have struggled with my weight. I have tried many diets and done numerous exercise classes and exercise DVD’s nothing worked. I’d lose the weight and then slowly it would creep back on. After having 3 children I was at my heaviest. 3 years ago Harriet’s PT advertising leaflet came through my door. I thought I’ve tried everything else I’ll give it ago. I met up with her and we talked about how we would go about changing not only my exercise routine but my eating habits. Slowly by going to her once a week and training I started to see a difference happening. People started noticing and complementing me. I started to feel good about myself. I remember ringing her up and asking her if she thought I could run a Marathon. She explained with the right training and dedication I could do it. The first time I ran with her we ran not even half a mile and I had to walk back. I was ready to give up but Harriet wouldn’t have it. She put together a training programme which was not only doable but fitted in with my hectic lifestyle. In April 2009, with Harriet’s help and determination to get me there, I ran the Brighton Marathon in 4hrs 36mins (running the whole way!!!) From then on I have caught the running bug and have run a number of half Marathons. In addition, her Spinning and Circuit classes are hard work but great fun, including those of all abilities. Her firm but encouraging approach to exercise really works and the confidence it has given me is brilliant. I have gone from a size 14 to a size 8-10 and most importantly the weight has stayed off!

I once was someone that could hardly run for a bus let alone run a 10k for charity, but Harriet’s training gave me the inspiration and motivation in needed to succeed. With Harriet’s help I was able to run the 10k that I once thought I would never run and on top of all that I have lost inches and become so much more toned. If it wasn’t for Harriet’s fun and motivational sessions I would never have reached my goals.
 

After having my two boys I have struggled with exercise and I love my food a little too much. I have joined gyms, but just wasted my money as could always find an excuse not to go, I have had personal trainers before however I never really enjoyed my sessions with them and the results were few and far between or they pushed me too hard. Diets, I have done them all!

Harriet’s training sessions have changed the way I think about exercise and food, her methods are fun and flexible, with realistic goals that give you a sense of achievement. Harriet seems to be able to read your mood and change her exercise plan according. Some days we power-walk and do weights, others run or cycle, often we go to the green and cross train using lots of differing equipment and routines, or we could use her gym and Vibrogym. The hour I spend exercising now goes so quickly, whereas before I was always clock watching.

Harriet is a kind, genuine and humorous person with a incredible zeal for life, a little bit of that rubs off on you after each session.

I now really look forward to exercising and feel so much better in my body.
